Caves Quoits (5 quoits)
Format - Throwing distance -
This almost extinct game is revived here. 6 hoops per player are thrown to land fully in a recess or 'cave'. The back wall and the slope of the board are crucial in developing a score. Highest score after agreed number of turns wins. |

Spinning Quoits (5 hoops) Format - Throwing distance -
The pointer starts at zero and when a hoop lands on a pin it sets the board in motion. After all quoits have been thrown (and there is at least one quoit on a pin) then you score where the pointer indicates. |

Yorkshire Darts
Format - Throwing distance - Probably first seen on the TV in the 1970s on the Indoor League. This board has no trebles ring and only a single smaller bullseye. The usual game is to play legs of 301 or 501. |

Ipswich Fives Darts (Wide Fives)

Corn hole (USA)
Format -
Throwing Distance - 4 bean bags per side are thrown from one board to land on the other board for 1 point each or in the hole of the other board for 3 points. A simple game of 21 up played widely in the USA. Can be played indoors or outdoors on any surface. |

Ladder Golf (or Ladderball) (USA)
Format -
Throwing Distance - Players throw three bolas each at one ladder from the other ladder. After one player has thrown all their bolas they are followed by their opponent. 3pts for top rung, 2 pts for centre rung and 1 pt for lower rung. Games are 21 up with a bust rule. |

On Target (frisbee)
Format - Dimensions -
In turn each player throws their 3 frisbees towards the target to score appropriate points. Couldn't be simpler. |

Petanque Molle (Soft petanque) Format -
Throwing Distance - Soft boules are thrown just as in the outdoor game. The boules will do no damage to a polished wooden, tiled or lino floor. Stand with your feet together and throw in a backhanded manner. Normally played to 13 up. |

Boccia Format -
Throwing Distance -
6 soft boccia balls per player / pair are thrown with throwing order following the game of boules. Your own chosen manner of throwing is permitted. The game will follow the approximate playing dimensions of a boccia court (where space permits) with players throwing from positions next to each other. The duration is based around 4 ends per game. |
